The Espresso is our single origin coffee Anokha filled in E.S.E. pods 44mm. This espresso is designed for a water quantity of about 30-40ml.
Anokha (meaning: The Unique) is a Monsooned Malabar Arabica from Kerala, India and owes its name to the monsoon. After harvesting, the coffee beans are moistened with the air from the monsoon rain. This refinement in combination with our gentle roasting ensures a low acidity and an intense, nutty taste.
This Cherry Arabica coffee is carefully cultivated and harvested by smallholders by hand.
The E.S.E (short for: Easy Serving Espresso) Pads / Pods are the environmentally friendly, as compostable alternative to all plastic or aluminum based capsule systems. The E.S.E. pods are packed loose in a pack of 20 and can be composted after use.
