The Espresso Forte is our popular Nectar 50 filled in E.S.E. Pads 44mm. This espresso is designed for a water quantity of about 20-30ml and runs out accordingly thick.
The composition of two sustainably produced premium coffees from Peru and Tanzania is characterized by intense roasted aromas. The harmonious interaction of the two single origin coffees is brought out by our gentle roasting. The aroma of roasted almonds that this coffee exudes in the cup is perfected on the palate with notes of nougat and popcorn. This strong, Italian roast is ideally suited for ristretto, espresso as well as milk drinks.
Both coffees were produced by organic and Fairtrade certified farms, which guarantees fair wages and sustainable farming practices.
The E.S.E (short for: Easy Serving Espresso) pads / pods are the environmentally friendly, as compostable alternative to all plastic or aluminum based capsule systems. The E.S.E. pods are packed loose in a pack of 20 and can be composted after use.
